About Marina

Marina Green (she/they) is a PNW artist who’s all about pushing boundaries. They work with photography, experimental video, trash art, and whatever else feels right in the moment. With education in art, healthcare, and sociology, their work is raw, political and erotic and always a little provocative, dangerous and fun.

Rooted in a personal narrative of rejecting a conservative Christian upbringing, their work explores themes of liberation, identity, and sexuality. It’s feminist, queer, sex-positive, and totally unfiltered — all about owning who you are and rejecting what doesn’t serve you.

Inspired by classic art but with a totally modern twist, Marina’s work is both confrontational and beautiful. It’s made to get you thinking, challenge what you thought you knew, and celebrate authenticity in all its messy, complicated glory.
